A STUDENT suffered a fractured skull after being hit by a double decker bus.
The 19-year-old French student, who was on a day trip, was at first thought to be only slightly injured in the collision in Western Road, Brighton, shortly after 2.30pm on Thursday (April 16).
She was taken to the Hurstwood Park neurological centre, Haywards Heath, where her condition was stabilised, and has since gone back to France where she has been admitted to hospital for observation.
The double decker bus involved was driven by a 55-year-old man from Peacehaven who was unhurt.
