Vanilla opened in October 2005 under the guidance of head chef and proprietor Jordan Webb and has quickly established itself as one of the top fine dining restaurants in Brighton and Hove and a great place for entertaining clients.
Previously, Jordan headed the kitchens at Newick Park Hotel, Newick, Whites Restaurant in Brighton and Circa in Lewes.
At Vanilla, the intimate dining room offers exceptional food and distinctive wines in a relaxed atmosphere.
With more than 50 bins on the wine list there are some rare choices, such as Sancerre Rouge and Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc. An even greater array is available on Vanilla's seven-course tasting events, future dates to be announced.
Jordan sources the finest produce and quality meats. A signature meal would be: Pan-fried gnocchi with oxtail and wild garlic; Roasted duck breast accompanied by duck ravioli and a cherry jus; Baileys chocolate torte with a macadamia nut base and vodka passion sorbet.
The late lounge bar is for relaxing with indulgent cocktails. The list, of more than 60, constantly evolves and matures. Private parties, functions and receptions are tailored for all occasions; dates are already subject to availability.
