George IV's sumptuous seaside home offers a stunning backdrop for corporate entertaining. The magnificent state rooms provide a spectacular setting for evening dinners and receptions, while a number of small, but no less charming, rooms are available for both day and evening functions.
Oriental extravagance meets English eccentricity in the lavish main state room. Guests can enjoy drinks in the Great Kitchen, with its cast-iron palm trees followed by dinner in the banqueting room below the spectacular dragon chandelier.
The State Rooms are available for evening events throughout the year. Maximum capacities are 200 for a drinks reception and 90 for dinner.
Retaining much of the original 1820s decorative scheme, including red dragon wallpaper and palm tree pillars, the historic Red Drawing Room creates a warm and intimate atmosphere for both civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. The room can be hired any day from 10am to 5pm and can accommodate up to 40 guests. A tour of the main state rooms can be included as part of an event.
Other venues operated by the functions team include Brighton Museum and Preston Manor.
