Christopher Charles Levi, aged 29, of Seafield Road, Hove, pleaded guilty to two counts of resisting a constable doing their duty. Given a six-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
Stacey Nicola Anne Gunn, aged 24, of Brunswick Place, Hove, pleaded guilty to assault by beating and resisting a constable doing his duty. Jailed for four weeks suspended for 12 months, ordered to be supervised for 12 months, pay £150 compensation, £80 victim surcharge and £200 costs.
Niki Roberts, aged 27, of Moyne Close, Hove, pleaded guilty to three counts of assaulting a constable doing his or her duty. Ordered to do 90 hours’ unpaid work, pay £150 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £400 costs.
Steven Blake, aged 35, of Sommerhill Avenue, Hove, pleaded guilty to assaulting a constable doing his duty; damaging a custody cell; damaging two bottles of wine, worth £11.98, and a glass door, belonging to the Co-op. Given a community order to attend appointments as directed by the responsible officer over 24 months. Ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge, £350 costs and £96.98 compensation.
David John Milton, aged 50, of Hardwick Road, Hove, pleaded guilty to two counts of dishonestly making a statement or representation to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in order to claim Jobseekers Allowance; one count of dishonestly failing to notify the DWP of a change in circumstances – self-employed earnings – affecting his entitlement to Jobseekers Allowance; one count of failing to notify Brighton and Hove City Council that he was getting Jobseekers Allowance; and one count of fraud in dishonestly failing to disclose to the DWP that he was getting self-employed earnings. Ordered to do 120 hours unpaid work, pay £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Elena Crespo Marin, aged 37, of Goldstone Way, Hove, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. Fined £900 plus a £90 victim surcharge and £620 costs. Banned from driving for 24 months, reduced by six months if completes an approved driving course.
Wayne Reginald Lawrence, aged 40, of Cambridge Grove, Hove, pleaded guilty to speeding in a 30mph zone. Fined £35 plus a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.
