Liam Henry Fairbairn, 22, of Roderick Avenue, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to drink driving in a Vauxhall Corsa on The Drove, Newhaven on September 13 after blowing 62mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £25 and costs of £85.
Adrian Kmiecik, 23, of Mitchelldean, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to stealing £104.94 worth of DVDs from Asda in Pevensey Bay Road, Eastbourne and obstructing a police officer in Pevensey Bay Road, Eastbourne, both on August 18, stealing alcohol worth £48.74 from Star Petrol Station in South Coast Road, Peacehaven and skipping a £30 taxi fare in Vernon Avenue, Peacehaven both on July 2. He was fined a total of £300, ordered to pay compensation totalling £78.74, a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.
Samantha Louise Stirling, 25, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour at Cinque Foil, Peacehaven on August 10. Fined £40 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £140 costs.
Walter George Wickens, 33, of Cinque Foil, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to assault by beating and using threatening words or behaviour in Peacehaven on August 10. Jailed for 14 weeks and given a restraining order.
Jack John George, 19, of Tye View, Telscombe Cliffs, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to obstructing a constable doing his duty and possessing Class A drug MDMA. Given a six-week curfew. Ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Christie Louise Woods, 26, of Trafalgar Close, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to possessing a sharply pointed item – a pair of scissors – in a public place, without good reason or lawful authority; using violence to enter a premises without consent. Ordered to take part in 20 Inspire sessions and be supervised as directed by the responsible officer. Fined £110 plus £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Mark Gillespi, 42, of Firle Road, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to speeding in a 30mph zone. Fined £307 plus a £31 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.
Carl Anthony Clifford Herrington, 22, of Headland Close, Peacehaven, admitted assault. Given a six-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £150 costs.
David John Berry, 62, of Horsham Avenue, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to failing to stop at a red light in Preston Road, Brighton on December 15, 2013. He was fined £195, ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £20 and three points were added to his licence.
Trevor Richard Davis, 45, of Arundel Road, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Peacehaven on September 7. He was fined £333, ordered to pay victim surcharge of £33 and ordered to pay costs of £85.
