Andrew Neil Johnstone, 47, of Sele Gardens, Upper Beeding, Steyning, was convicted in his absence of speeding in a Ford on the A2037 at Small Dole, a 30mph zone, on March 5 this year. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
Gary John Buckman, 44, of Monks Walk, Upper Beeding, pleaded guilty to stealing £25.18 worth of food from Nisa Stores with another person. Ordered to pay £12.59 compensation.
Matthew Michael Jago, 28, of West End Lane, Henfield, was convicted in his absence of keeping an untaxed Ford Mondeo on the road. Fined £400 and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £73.34 and costs of £90.
Gillian Goddard, 55, of Parsonage Road, Henfield, pleaded guilty to harassment and failing to answer bail. Also admitted committing the offence while under a conditional discharge. Given a restraining order, fined £265 plus £22 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Mark George Ward, 42, of Steep Down, The Crescent, Steyning, pleaded guilty to speeding in a 30mph zone. Fined £133 plus a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
David Dewey, 31, of Roman Way. Billingshurst, pleaded guilty to drink-driving, in a Ford Cougar, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. Laurie France, 35, of Nicholsfield, Loxwood, Billingshurst, was convicted in his absence of driving with a child under 14 in the front of the car who was not wearing a seatbelt conforming with the motor vehicles regulations. Fined £200 plus a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Ben Leslie MacQuire, 30, of Rowan Close, Pulborough, pleaded guilty to causing £320 worth of damage to a television at a property in Meadowside, Storrington. He wasgiven a 12 month conditional discharge, ordered to pay compensation of £350, a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £50.
Natasha Massie, 18, of London Road, Pulborough, pleaded guillty to two counts of assault. Given a 24-month conditional discharge. Ordered to pay £120 compensation, £115 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
Yogen Dinesh Patel, 36, of Lower Street, Pulborough, was convicted in his absence of speeding over 30mph. Fined £200 plus a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
Harry William David Rhoder, 19, of The Spinney, Pulborough, pleaded guilty to damaging a telephone unit and a vehicle wing mirror. Ordered to be supervised for six months and pay £60 compensation.
Alexander Pike, 42, of Padwicks Field, Fittleworth, Pulborough, pleaded guilty to failing to give identification relating to the identity of the driver of a Peugeot alleged to have committed an offence in Shoreham on April 2 this year. Benedict Samuel Eaton, 30, of Billingshurst Road, Ashington, Pulborough, was convicted in his absence of failing to stop a Toyota at a red traffic light on the A24 Buckbarn Crossroads on January 23 this year.
