DOGS found abandoned and starved on the streets know each other, vets said yesterday.

The rottweiler and black labrador, were discovered in Latimer Road and Wallace Avenue, both in Worthing, last Friday.

Once reunited by vets, it was clear they knew each other.

The rottweiler was found cold, wet and severely malnourished with no ID tag or chip, weighing only two-thirds of its ideal weight. The labrador, in a similar condition, was about three-quarters of its weight.

Anyone who can identify the dogs can email pcdw@adur-worthing.gov.uk or call 01903 239999 and ask for the dog warden service.
