Daniel Christopher James Tarrant, 25, of Franklynn Road, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to sending an electronic message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, victim surcharge of £15 and £50 costs.
Charlie Joel Jackson, 19, of Cowfold Road, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Fined £110, plus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months, reduced by three months if completes an approved course.
Lewis Stephen Hustwayte, 21, of Franklands Village, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen on the Old Steine, Brighton on March 7, 2013 without the necessary breadth of tread in a tire. Fined £80 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge. Licence endorsed with three points. Fined £600 and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.
Katrina Abram, 49, of Willow Park, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to driving a Peugeot on the A27 at Patcham without due care and attention on April 13 this year. Fined £133 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with four points.
Jacob Mchale, 41, of Western Road, Hurstpierpoint, was found guilty of two counts of assault by beating. Ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge, costs of £620 and £100 compensation.
