Sally Nicola Jane Salter, 42, of Lindfield Close, Saltdean, Brighton, was convicted in her absence of speeding in a Chrysler on the A259 Black Rock, Marine Drive, Brighton, a 30mph zone, on December 5, 2013. Fined £200, plus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
Christopher Rodgers, 57, of Millers Road, Brighton, was convicted in his absence of stopping a Ford Mondeo in a Pelican-controlled area on Church Road, Hove on January 21 this year. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
Richard Charles Steer, 61, of St Luke’s Road, Brighton, was convicted in his absence of speeding on Lewes Road, Brighton, a 30mph zone, on December 16, 2013. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
Victoria Mary Steven, 35, of Surrenden Crescent, Brighton, pleaded guilty to speeding in a Mini on the A259 Black Rock, Brighton, a 30mph zone, on December 13, 2013. Fined £125 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
Mark David Taylor, 45, of Mountfields, Brighton, pleaded guilty to speeding in a BMW on the A27 at Arundel, a 70mph zone, on March 23 this year. Fined £80 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge. Licence endorsed with three points.
Sean Scott Mcgrath, 48, of Sandown Road, Brighton, pleaded guilty to stealing goods worth £4.59, from Co-op in St James’s Street, Brighton on August 14 this year and to possession of cannabis. Fined a total of £100 and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £40 costs.
Justin Cooke, 32, of Frimley Close, Brighton, pleaded guilty to stealing clothing and an industrial clothing rail, worth £6,000, belonging to NHM Events on July 6, and stealing three boxes of toiletries and an industrial clothing rail on January 1, both from the Hilton Brighton Metropole. Jailed for 12 weeks suspended for six months. Ordered to pay £300 compensation.
Antoney Goodman, 64, of Southease, Whitehawk Road, Brighton, pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of a credit card to pay for hotel accommodation worth £650, possessing cannabis resin and failing to answer bail. Ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work, pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Shoebur Rahman Malik, 24, of Beckley Close, Brighton, pleaded guilty to driving on the B2124 Laughton Road, Ringmer, near Lewes, without due care and attention on May 6. Fined £250 and ordered to pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.
Lee Flowers, 40, of Tumulus Road, Saltdean, was found guilty in his absence of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have committed an offence. He was fined £600, ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £60 and six points were added to his licence.
