Luke Edward Peter Keeping, 35, of Goldstone Villas, Hove, pleaded guilty to three counts of stealing alcohol and goods worth more than £184.60 from Waitrose in Nevill Road, Hove. He was jailed for eight weeks for each case, to run concurrently, and was ordered to pay and a victim surcharge of £80.
Catherine Colebourne, 34, of Church Road, Hove, pleaded guilty to harassing a woman by sending her various letters, messages and cards between September 2013 and July this year. She was placed on a community order scheme and a restraining order was made prohibiting her from contacting the victim. She was ordered to pay costs of £40 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £60.
Daniel Willard, 37, of Gladstone Road, Hove, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her. He was ordered to participate in a domestic abuse perpetrator programme and a restraining order was made prohibiting him from contacting the victim or entering a Brighton street. He was fined £50, ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £60.
Karoline Maria Bell, 41, of Elm Drive, Hove, pleaded guilty to breaking a 30mph speed limit in Hangleton in her Vauxhall on January 14. She was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and three points were added to her licence.
Christopher John Holland, 58, of Modena Road, Hove, was found guilty of breaking the 30mph speed limit in Kingsway in Hove on January 17. He was fined £200, ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £20 and three points were added to his licence.
