Joshua Ireneu Injai, 22, of York Road, Hove, pleaded guilty to possessing a tea-spoon size of a class B drug. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and pay £85 costs.
Lee Michael Gillingham, 23, of Locks Hill, Portslade, pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order, by sending text messages. Ordered to be supervised for 12 months, do 60 hours’ unpaid work, pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Melvin James Cochran, 31, of Crest Way, Portslade, pleaded guilty to stealing three packets of chicken satay and two packets of cheese, worth £8.29, from the Co-op; using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour; racially aggravated assault by beating; committing an offence while under a conditional discharge for criminal damage; drunk and disorderly behaviour; resisting a constable doing his duty. Jailed for eight days and fined £330.
