Loren James Burgess, 23, of George V Avenue, Worthing, pleaded guilty to obstructing a constable and possessing cannabis. Given a 24-month conditional discharge. Fined £73, plus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Antony Addis, 46, of Windsor Road, Worthing, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour while drunk. Fined £87 plus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Ahmed Hussaini, 19, of Manor Road, West Worthing, pleaded guilty to taking a Ford Fiesta, for his or another’s use, without the owner’s consent; driving without a licence; driving without insurance; and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. Ordered to do 60 hours’ unpaid work, pay a £60 victim surcharge and £40 costs. Banned from driving for six months.
Mohammad Hoshyar Khidir, 22, of Broadwater Road, Broadwater, Worthing, pleaded guilty to obstructing a constable doing his duty. Fined £50 plus £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs.
Steven Matthias, 38, of The Strand, Goring, pleaded guilty to stealing two bottles of whisky, worth £70, and four bottles of Jack Daniels, worth £100, from Marks and Spencer. Given a six-week curfew. Ordered to pay £100 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Shirley Allibone, 77, of Hawthorn Crescent, Broadwater, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. Fined £110 plus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. License endorsed with nine points.
