The Environment, Transport & Sustainability Committee on Oct 7th will consider a report on the outcome of the consultation of the Traffic Regulation Order proposed for the streets in Livingston Street, Bute Street, Rochester Street and Hendon Street. It recommends that Controlled Parking Zone U be extended to include Bakers Bottom.
Only 11 residents commented to the TRO, though nearly 200 commented in the informal consultation in the Spring which included Craven Vale.
Most of the objections centered on the switch the double-yellows of the original plan to the other side of the roads. All were considered but made no difference to the recommendation to go ahead.
The traffic survey last Autumn in Bakers Bottom is not mentioned in the report.
