- At the height of the blaze 80 firefighters are at the scene
- RNLI crews from Eastbourne, Newhaven and Hastings also aided the fire service
- The blaze believed to have started in wall panelling
- Sussex Police say no-one was trapped by the fire when it broke out
- The fire is not believed to be suspicious at this time
- At 19:47 the fire service said the fire is now being brought under control
- At 20:39 fire investigators arrived at the Eastbourne landmark
