Concern has been raised over a missing 87-year-old man with dementia.
James Gates, of St Leonards, East Sussex, was last seen at 5pm on Tuesday (June 3) at his home in Kite Close.
He is described as white, 5' 11", of medium build and is bald.
It is not known what clothes he was wearing but he may be wearing shoes that do not match and is described as having a shuffling walk.
Sergeant Tony Donovan said: "James likes to walk along the seafront at Hastings and we don't believe that he has any money on him. Our officers are out searching for him in Hastings and St Leonards and with the help of the public we hope to find him soon."
Anyone who has seen or thinks they have seen James is asked to call 101 quoting serial 498 of 4/6.
If he requires medical treatment or is in danger, call 999 immediately.
