Although it was half-term, Preston Park has been almost empty all week.
Not surprisingly, people have been put off by the large number of caravans. All our Green MP can do (The Argus, May 29) is urge the police ‘to take proportionate action to protect park users and local residents’.
How feeble is that? What exactly does ‘proportionate’ mean? Sorry, these vehicles should not be in the park.
