A severe weather warning is in place for the weekend with the threat of thundery downpours.
The Met Office have issued an alert as a system of rain moves over Sussex on Saturday.
The weather warning was issued earlier this afternoon and is valid from 12.15am on June 7 to 11.45pm on June 7.
The Met Office released a statement which said: "Thundery downpours are expected to affect parts of England, Wales and southern counties of Scotland during Saturday.
"The public should be aware of the potential for localised flooding due to the intensity of these storms, although at this stage the location of the heaviest rainfall is uncertain.
"The public is advised to take extra care, further information and advice can be found here: www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/links.html. "
