A special needs school has a new “sensory garden”.
The rugby charity Wooden Spoon helped Woodlands Meed Special School in Burgess Hill to raise funds for the outdoor area.
A spokesman for the school said: “The sensory garden can be used by any student who needs a different experience of the outdoors to the more traditional playground.”
Former England Rugby World Cup squad member Andy Gomarsall MBE will officially open the garden today.
The opening starts at 2pm at the Woodlands Meed site in Chanctonbury Road.
