Further to your report (The Argus, May 26), “Animal activists target Sea Life centre,” yes it is wrong, you could say, to keep animals and fish in tanks but surely if we don’t keep a good percentage in tanks and enclosures all the wild ones will be killed and we will not be able to re-stock them one day.
The protesters should do something useful and all go off to Africa.
Latch yourselves on to an elephant and follow it around all day for the rest of your lives and you will have done a wonderful thing in preserving these animals from bounty hunters and poachers.
Oh and you can take your dog. Best of luck.

Reading your report on protesters calling for the release of marine creatures at the Sea Life centre, I wondered, has the dog held on a lead by the guy pictured on the left been set free?
