A Sussex designer has launched her first signature collection of innovative luxury fashion accessories.
Moji Salehi, who grew up in Iran and was influenced by the traditional designs of ancient Persian arts and culture, architecture, poetry and textiles, founded her company Mojiana in 2013 and has spent the last year developing her own brand.
The designer, whose brand is based in Brighton, has a background in interior design and textile printing and formed the company to combine her passion for handbags and fashion accessories with her design skills.
The design fundamentals the circle and the line feature strongly in her pieces for ‘Galaxy’, her debut collection of leather cuffs, clutches, leather rings and bold tribal signature necklaces.
With their innovative structural designs, the exclusive pieces have been hand-crafted in Sussex and London by master craftsmen and women with track records of creating bespoke pieces for ‘A’ list celebrities and royalty.
Moji said: “The collection is designed for women who have a bold and adventurous approach to fashion and who want to bring a sense of glamour and sensuality to any room they walk into, the kind of woman who doesn’t follow trends but creates her own.
“I have deliberately set out to establish a collection of timeless pieces that rely on quality and style to command a unique place in the market.”
She added: “A woman makes the biggest fashion statement around when she is most comfortable within her own skin.”
This year, Moji plans to launch several new and different lines under the Mojiana brand and she has already created two more jewellery collections, which will be showcased on her website in the next few weeks.
