YouTube mash-up masters Cassetteboy are more commonly found in front of their computers, painstakingly splicing together clips of The Apprentice or MasterChef to make famous people sound silly.
But for the Bank Holiday weekend, Steve Warlin and Michael Bollen decamped to the Spiegeltent, alongside comedy rapper DJ Rubbish, for a night of music and mayhem.
This was a club night with a difference - mixing party anthems by the likes of Rihanna and M83 with video clips of Dot Cotton and Gregg Wallace to hilarious effect.
A clever pop at Robin Thicke and his widely criticised Blurred Lines video saw one of Cassetteboy don a naked woman costume with a latex monkey mask and dance around the stage, while the hashtag #Prick filled the screen behind them.
DJ Rubbish - with his blonde wig, headband and baby blue shell suit - held things together, hyping up the crowd and adding to the humour with his deadpan commentary.
There can’t be many club nights where you spend as much time laughing as you do dancing. Cassetteboy vs DJ Rubbish was the perfect Bank Holiday night out - here’s hoping they make Brighton Fringe a regular visit.
