Patcham artists showed off their talents at an exhibition held at the community centre in Ladies Mile Road, as part of Brighton Open Houses.
It is the first time Patcham Arts have exhibited their work and they are eager for others to do the same.
Organiser Patricia Tyler said: “I brainstormed the idea to regroup artists from Patcham and display their work in the community centre.”
By successfully combining Patcham Arts with Brighton Embroiderers Guild and St Thomas More Art Club, visitors were able to see their paintings, plus, pin-hole and regular photography printing, pottery, crafts and fabric art.
Mrs Tyler, a member of the Patcham Community Association for 24 years, said: “We have some wonderful artists in this area and I wanted back to bring them together to display their work, and the community centre is the perfect place.”
