On walking through Preston Park last Thursday, I saw travellers have arrived once again.
On my way home, I saw that their bins have been delivered.
I noticed a builder’s van (white, brand-new) and a top-of-the-range white Mercedes parked right in the centre of the grass. Further along, some rather nicely fitted-out mobile homes and a handful of 4x4s.
These are not poor, homeless, tormented people fleeing their homes for a better life in the UK. Enough is enough.
I am writing to demand a reduction in my council tax until this problem is sorted out for good. I am a Brighton resident and I have had more than enough of this.
We are not a free holiday centre. If they wish to visit and stay in our beautiful city, pay like everyone has to.
