WITH VIDEO: Meet Kim the singing cook
FOOD glorious food – a Brighton chef has taken to serenading her customers as she cooks.
Kim Coghlan at Honey’s Food Bar in Crowhurst Road sings familiar tunes with original lyrics about the ingredients, meals on the menu and even their five-star hygiene rating.
But the 48-year-old of The Drove in Brighton is not quite pitch-perfect and her colleague Jamie Degnin, 48, lets customers know earplugs are available when Kim breaks into song.
Kim took over and rebranded Honey’s Food Bar eight weeks ago and her original combination of food and song – as well as the double comedy act with Jamie – is already going well.
