A driver hit a teenage girl on a busy road before driving off.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident in High Street, Lewes, on Tuesday (May 20) at 7.24pm.
She was crossing the road outside the Boots store when she was hit.
Despite falling and hitting her head the driver did not stop.
PC Richards Hobbs said: "Fortunately her injuries are minor but it is of concern that the car did not stop and the driver did not check on her."
Witnesses should contact police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1387 of 20/5. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
