We are fed up with fly-tipping in the Newtimber and Pyecombe area.
A slip road is being used as a general rubbish dump. Does anybody know of people gutting their house or garden and not using a skip?
Does anyone know someone who has just got rid of their tiger-design carpet and outdoor clothes dryer?
Last week we had a load of window frames dumped. Then two lots of clippings and old bushes appeared – grass clippings of course kill everything underneath them.
This latest lot had been offloaded in the underpass and the local quarry workers have moved it on to the side of the verge just to keep the road clear.
So thanks a lot, whoever you are – why not be responsible for a change and actually pay for a skip to get rid of your rubbish?
What do you think actually happens to this anyway? Oh that’s right – it’s Mr and Mrs Somebody Else who pays and makes the effort to remove it for you.
Thanks a lot for nothing.
