A pub is creating 15 new jobs as it undergoes a £200,000 transformation.
The Spanish Lady, in Longridge Avenue in Saltdean, closed on May 12 for extensive refurbishment.
It will officially reopen on Friday.
Owner Spirit Pub Company is giving the pub a complete make-over with a new elevated beer garden with views out to sea.
The bar will be completely revamped with six real ale pumps and a range of continental and craft lagers.
The new menu includes pub classics, revolving specials and traditional Sunday roasts served.
It will also open for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday from 9am.
General manager Aaron Bennett said: “We’re very excited to be undergoing such a huge transformation.
“The Spanish Lady is a part of the local community in Saltdean, so we’re pleased to be able to offer even better surroundings and a great new menu to local residents.
“And with Sky Sports and an exceptional drinks range, we’re sure to have a fantastic summer here in Saltdean.
“I am on the look-out for dynamic, hard-working individuals on the bar and in the kitchen who want to be part of our family of team players at the Spanish Lady.”
