A householder discovered a burglar in his conservatory.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary at a house in Sompting Road, Worthing, at 1.30pm on Thursday May 15.
The suspect was disturbed in the conservatory at the back of the house by the householder. He then left through the back garden on to Hadley Avenue, which is believed to be the way he entered.
No items were stolen.
There is believed to be one suspect, described as a white man in his 30s, 5' 10" and of stocky build. He had a shaven head and was wearing a T-shirt with large stripes.
