Wide-load lorry blocks A27 Polegate bypass
The A27 Polegate bypass has re-opened both ways after a wide-load lorry blocked the road.
The incident, between the A22 Cop Hall Roundabout and the A2270 Eastbourne Road (Polegate traffic lights) saw traffic delayed by up to 15 minutes.
It is not clear exactly how the lorry was stuck, but it was being escorted by wide-load Highways Agency vehicles when it came to a standstill.
