Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing 16-year-old girl from Worthing.
Laura Douglas has not been since 5.15pm on Thursday May 15 when she was at Halfords at Lyons Farm with her pink and mauve Flite Starlight mountain bike.
She was expected to be home before 6pm but has not been seen or heard from since.
Laura is white but tanned, 5ft and of medium build. She has brown, straight, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen she was wearing blue jeans with a crop top and a brown leather jacket that has a side zip.
PC Alex Leeson said: "We're becoming increasingly concerned for Laura not just because of her age but also because she has learning difficulties.
"Although she is 16, Laura has the mental age of a young girl and does not always behave like a girl of her age.
"We need to speak to Laura urgently to check she is ok."
Anyone who has seen Laura or knows where she is asked to call 101 quoting serial 1293 of 13/5.
If you see Laura and she appears to be in danger please call 999 immediately.
