Man falls from his mobility scooter into lake
An elderly gentleman had to be rescued from a lake by firefighters.
The man fell from his mobility scooter into the lake at Brooklands Leisure Park off Western Road in Lancing at 3.30pm this afternoon.
Firefighters from Worthing station were able to rescue the man using a ladder and he was checked over by South East Coast Ambulance Service paramedics before being taken to Worthing Hospital for further checks.
