Two men were arrested after attacking two men while out fishing in Crawley.
Three men were night fishing in the early hours of Sunday morning (May 11) at Tilgate lake in Crawley when, at around 1.40am, they were approached by two men at the lake. The men had a verbal disagreement and one of the men who had been fishing went to ring the police. The other two men, who had been fishing, were then shot with an air pistol.
Both received injuries one to head and arm and the other to his forehead and hand.
Two men were arrested. Gintas Piscelinas, 25, unemployed of Tierney Road, London has been charged with possession of an air weapon with intent to cause fear of violence. Modestas Kubilius, 23, a builder from Walesbeech, Crawley has been charged with two counts of ABH and possession of a air weapon with intent to cause fear of violence..
They appeared at Crawley Magistrates Court on Monday and both been remanded to appear on June 5 at Lewes Crown Court.
