A cyclist was blown off his bike and then struck by a car travelling behind.
At about 3.55pm Sunday 11 May a 30-year old local cyclist was travelling north in Wilbury Road in Hove near the junction of Eaton Road.
He was unseated from his cycle by a strong gust of wind. He fell into the road where he was hit by a car which was travelling behind.
The cyclist was treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital for a severely bruised foot but was later allowed home.
The man driving the car did stop at the scene but left, with his female passenger, without exchanging details when the cyclist said they could. There is no description of the car.
PC Gavin Spencer said; "If you were in that car, or if you were in the area and saw what happened, please contact us via 101 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 946 of 12/5."
