A 75-year-old man was knocked down by car and suffered a head injury.
The elderly man was crossing the road by the Little Common roundabout at the junction with the A259 and Cooden Sea Road, Bexhill, when he was struck by a car being driven by a 67 year old man.
Both men were from Bexhill and the car was being driven at a slow speed.
The pedestrian sustained a head injury and was taken by ambulance to the Conquest Hospital where he was treated for a laceration requiring stitches.
PC Richard Hobbs of the Sussex Road Policing Unit at Polegate said; "If you saw what happened please contact us via 101 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1190 of 9/5."
