A piece of Star Wars memorabilia has been stolen from a charity shop.
A signed framed photograph of Mark Hamill - who played Luke Skywalker in the original film trilogy - was stolen as staff at Age Concern in Eastbourne, Grove Road were rearranging stock.
The theft occurred between 4 and 5pm on Monday, May 5.
The photo, which measures about 8 x 10 inches, was in a dark coloured frame with "trilogy" printed in the the bottom right hand corner and "Circa Lucas Films" in the bottom left corner. A certificate of authenticity was taped to the back.
Senior charity shop supervisor Gina Grinstead said "We had the item valued at £80 - this would have been a valuable donation to to Eastbourne Age Concern as we are a small local independent charity set up to help older people socialise and partake in a variety of activities, and seek information, advice and guidance all designed to promote independence and wellbeing designed to enhance later life. "We also provide information and advice on health, welfare benefits, consumer issues, and local concerns and offer a number of free services, providing professional legal advice, will-writing (conditions apply), and pension assistance."
