Travellers have arrived in a field in Brighton.
Around 30 caravans and vehicles set-up camp in Surrenden Field last night (Monday).
A resident of Regency Court, situated opposite the field, said: "Around 30 caravans rolled up last night and now there are generators and rubbish everywhere."
A spokeswoman from Sussex Police said: "The travellers were due to be evicted from Sheepcote Valley by Brighton and Hove City Council moved to Surrenden Park, London Road, Brighton on Monday (5 May). Thirty caravans are currently on site and the council have begun possession order proceedings. Officers have visited the site and it is being monitored."
