A thiving architects firm has announced ambitions for 100% growth in 2014 as it begins its 100th project.
Yelo Architects has doubled staff numbers and commissions in the past year and just moved to a new seafront office.
To meet increased demand Yelo has appointed architect Dan Almond with plans to recruit a further three team members in the coming two months.
Founded four years ago the firm’s 100th project is converting a barn into new offices with construction company Nutshell.
Other projects include the conservation of Call the Midwife author Jennifer Worth’s Grand Avenue apartment and large-scale £9 million residential project One Hove Park.
Yelo also recently delivered a research project proposing building adaptations to cope with the likely climate scenario for the year 2080 for the Technology Strategy Board.
Managing director and founder Andy Parsons said: “The 100th commission under our belts is a big milestone at Yelo as we up-scale to meet increasing demand in our Brighton hometown.
“It’s an exciting year and our first in our Brighton Marine Parade HQ – the future looks bright.”

Yelo will also be exhibiting at the Eco Tech Show at The Brighton Centre from 26 to 27 June showcasing some of the company’s most green-focused projects to date.
