A woman has been found dead in a home.

Police and paramedics were called to Lister Avenue, East Grinstead, on Wednesday morning to reports a 25-year-old had died.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Police and the ambulance service were called to an address in Lister Avenue at about 1.30am.

“Officers attended the scene as agents of the coroner and have commenced an investigation on behalf of the coroner.

“A post-mortem will take place over the next few days and a coroner’s inquest will be held to determine the cause of death.”
