Brighton and Hove City Council owns a very fine bandstand, so why not use it for what it was built?
Being a former guardsman, I am very well aware of the cost of hiring a military band these days.
Even so, I feel sure that part of the cost could be offset by selling a limited number of seats.
It would most certainly draw more people to the seafront.
Come on, Brighton and Hove City Council, how about it?
What a fitting tribute it would be with the commemoration of the First World War approaching.
