Bring back the flying boat in search for flight MH370
Watching the tragic search for missing Malaysian flight MH370, along with signs of wreckage, it came to me that a plane from the era of sea planes like the Saunders-Roe flying boat would have been able to land on water and help recover some of the spotted wreckage.
For some reason, the development of this aircraft was long ago abandoned. Why was this?
