Traffic is backing up on the A27 after a car engine caught fire.
The blaze happened at about 3.50pm westbound just after the junction with the A23.
Fire crews are on the scene dealing with the fire and police have arranged to recover the vehicle.
Two lanes are blocked causing delays along the road.
