Peacehaven Police Station could soon be upgraded to include a block of flats after plans were submitted to Lewes District Council.
The application, which is being submitted by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex, would see the existing building, in South Coast Road, replaced with a new station and nine flats.
A report submitted with the proposal will recommend that councillors approve the plans following the completion of a Section 106 finance agreement to secure funds for off-site open space and recycling and highway works.
The plans will be debated at the council's planning committee today.
