The case against Green MP Caroline Lucas has been adjourned until April 17.
Lucas, 53, of Brighton, is among a group of anti-fracking campaigners who all deny wilful obstruction of the highway and breaching Section 14 of the Public Order Act in Balcombe last summer.
The trial is part-heard but has now been adjourned until later this month, accord-ing to Brighton Magistrates’ Court.
Lucas stands trial alongside Josef Dobraszczyk, 22, from Bristol, Ruth Jarman, 50, from Hook, Hampshire, Sheila Menon, 42, from north east London, and Ruth Potts, 39, from Totnes, Devon.
