78-year-old pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by van.
At 4.20pm yesterday, the Crowborough man was in collision with a white van in Groombridge Lane, Eridge Green, outside Eridge railway station.
He was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton to be treated for a serious leg injury which was not assessed as life threatening.
The 66-year old van driver, also from Crowborough, was unhurt.
A Sussex Police spokesman said; "Anyone who saw what happened is asked to call us via 101 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk."
