Driver cut free from car after smashing into tree near Uckfield
A motorist was taken to hospital after smashing into a tree.
Emergency services were called to Lewes Road, Halland, near Uckfield, around 7.40pm on Wednesday evening (March 26).
Firefighters from Uckfield station had to use special cutting equipment to free the motorist after hitting the tree.
An ambulance was on scene to take them to hospital.
Their condition is unknown.
