Sussex County Cricket Club's County Ground could be transformed into a movie set.
Club bosses hope the new 'film location', launched yesterday, will bring the film, TV and photographic industries to the ground.
Club chief executive Zac Toumazi said: “In addition to the many varied backdrops on offer, I really think we tick all the boxes for any location manager looking for space to park the many vehicles required at a shoot, on-site quality catering for cast and crew and all the ancillary facilities associated with film and TV productions.
“With the new cricket season a few weeks away we will have the TV cameras in again covering the fantastic action on the pitch, but I'm really hopeful that fans will also soon see their beloved ground in the backdrop of a new film or television series.
“I want as many people as possible to enjoy using our first class facilities all year round and this is one part of that bigger plan.”
