A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.

Police received a report on Thursday that a woman had been raped at an address in Horsham on Saturday, March 15, into Saturday, March 16.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “The man and woman are known to each other and a 30-year-old man from Horsham was arrested for rape.

He was questioned before being released on bail until April 17 while officers carry out further inquiries.

“Police are not looking for anyone else.”
