Wild Park is the largest local nature reserve in Brighton. It is popular with local families, dog walkers and numerous clubs.

It is therefore very frustrating for local people that for the second time this year, full access to the park has been restricted by an unauthorised encampment.

We believe that the park should be open to all residents to enjoy all year round. Many other parks in the city have been given protection from unauthorised access.

Having repeatedly ignored Labour councillors’ requests for similar protection, it’s time for the Green council to give Wild Park the security it deserves.
