Parking consultation for this extension of Area U started on Saturday March 22nd when the documents came into the letter boxes — some comments/questions already

1: are they on-line plus map?
2: have the same documents been sent to Area U too thus allowing them to comment?
3: what was the rationale for the parking to be on the north side of hendon st west end and then the south side at the east end and the rationale for Bute and Rochester too?
4: the color codes for (a) livingston street and (b) loading/pedal are very difficult to see: will they be any clearer on-line?

There has been a U-turn on this situation in that previous discussions had ruled out using Area U as the over-spill because the policy to never have light-touch anyway again: now, it seems it is OK.

It has been always a complicated issue as 3 zones meet (zone U, H, C) and residents in  Bakers Bottom see much spare capacity in Sutherland Road which caters for commuters around the private school and public hospital near-by......
