More than 1.2 million people watched a Sussex woman speak in support of World Down Syndrome Day.
Actress Sarah Gordy, 32, of Lewes, who recently starred in Call the Midwife has joined others with Down’s Syndrome in a short film.
The film starts with a mother saying: “I’m expecting a baby. I’ve discovered he has Down Syndrome. I'm scared: what kind of life will my child have?”
Miss Gordy and the others then discuss how they can write, talk and do many other things.
It was created by Saatchi & Saatchi for CoorDown, the Italian Coordinator of the National Association of People with Down Syndrome.
World Down Syndrome Day is on Friday, March 21.
